A source system is described as a sequence of operations that ensures that things are produced from the stage of beginning to the point of use. It includes all the stages of the source process – from sourcing, production, travel and storage space.

There are four stages of the source chain: sourcing, manufacturing, method of travel and storage. In supply chain, things are extracted from suppliers and converted into finished products. When ever sourcing, it is the first stage of the source process in which suppliers gather all the essential information about the clients and the suppliers they want to go with. After finding, manufacturers create and transfer the goods, although distributors store the products and deliver them to the final users.

Every single stage in the supply sequence has its own specific functions and roles. The creation stage is the central part of the program where suppliers make and produce items to be produced to vendors. Good manufacturers happen to be those who look after the quality criteria of the items they create. On the other hand, recruits are people who will take delivery of the goods to the customers. And lastly, storage area and circulation are the keeping parts of the provision system just where manufacturers and distributors to maintain the goods pertaining to end-users and make sure they are in good condition once they will be received.
